ROOTED IN MOTION: HOW MOVEMENT SUPPORTS YOUR MOOD

I’ve learned something simple but powerful: when I move, I feel better. Not just physically—mentally, and emotionally, too.

When I’m in a funk, feeling sluggish, or just not myself, movement is often the reset I didn’t know I needed. A quick walk. A few stretches. Dancing to one good song. That’s all it takes to shift my energy and reconnect with myself.

One thing that helps me stay aware? My Oura Ring. It gently nudges me when I’ve been still for too long—and honestly, I appreciate the reminder. Life gets busy. But those small moments of movement matter more than we think. They help release stress, boost my mood, and keep my mind clear.

It’s not about working out harder. It’s about moving smarter—and more often. When I move, I feel:

✔ More grounded

✔ More clear-headed

✔ More like me

So if you’ve been sitting too long or stuck in your own head—take a deep breath, get up, and move a little. Your body (and your mood) will thank you.

Here’s to staying rooted, even in motion 🌱— Carrie
